  2. Filling of BPOU Delegations – BPOU Chairs seat Alternates in accordance with Rule, report, and secure voting credentials for seated Alternates at Registration Desk

  1. Resolutions Committee Report – Resolutions Committee Chair Chris Klienschmidt
    Resolutions paper ballot procedures will be explained. Ballots must be completed and turned in not later than 11:30 am.

  1. Balloting Begins for Endorsing 1st District Congressman
    In accordance with the Rules, balloting will proceed from one ballot to the next. After the 1st ballot, the convention will recess approximately 15 minutes for lunch. An updated Credential Report will be given at any time there is a change in new registrations that would affect the minimum required for endorsement (Rule 19(f). Candidates for statewide office will be recognized between ballots only. A straw vote for Governor will also be taken at approximately 3 pm, volunteer recognition, and then the Resolutions balloting report and consideration of any resolutions as required.

Note: Times in italics are approximate.Our goal is to adjourn not later than 5:00 pm but delegates and alternates should be prepared to stay longer (into the evening if need be) to complete the endorsement process. It is anticipated that each ballot process will take an average of about 30 to 45 minutes. (i.e., 10 ballots about 6½ hours)
